Sometimes a tooth is too broken for a filling. In these cases a crown is a good solution. A crown is made of porcelain and may have gold or metal inside to make it stronger. The remainder of the tooth is shaped and an impression is taken and sent to a lab. The lab will make a crown from the impression and this is then returned to Narrandera Dental Centre where it is cemented onto the tooth. A similar procedure can be used when an entire tooth is missing, this treatment is called a bridge.
